Here's how i resealed my front window hanger.

Click on pictures to make them bigger.

First remove the trim insert ( shown removed in picture ).

Now open the window and remove the window stay screws as shown.

Close the window ( with the stays going inside the window opening ) and then
unscrew the window hanger rail.

Gently lift one side of the window hanger rail , all i used to do this was my
fingers .

Slide the rail off the window .

Remove the old mastic with a plastic scraper .

This is what's left .

Use white spirit to clean the rest of the mastic off. Note dry the area well after using White spirit , then clean with Meths ( methylated spirit ) , the reason is that any residue of White spirit stops the mastic sticking properly.

Nice and clean now.

Do the same with the hanger rail , plastic scraper first .

Then cloth and white spirit will get the rest off.

I also cleaned the trim groove with a tooth brush and white spirit.

Once the cleaning was done i started adding the new roll mastic to the rail (
size used was 19mm wide).

Once correctly placed and trimmed to length the backing tape
was removed.

Next i pushed the "new stainless steel" screws through the rail slightly so i
would be able to line them up with the holes on the caravan ( Note i put a bit
of spit on the threads so when they finally screw through the mastic , they
don't wrap all the mastic around the thread ).

This picture shows the mistake i made , i forgot to put the rail back on the
window first , and on my window the way the hinge has been made it can't be
added afterwards. So don't do as i did.

It's well sticky stuff to get back off again ( notice the
difference between the rail removal the first time and this time ie old mastic /
new mastic ).

Refitting this time with the window added to the rail first ( note i held the
window fully open so i could see the screws poking through the rail/mastic ,
that made it easy to line up the screws with the holes , bigger windows may need
an extra person to help place the window ).

I used some of the roll mastic to wrap around the head of the screw ( to get
a extra good seal ) , ( note this could be done before adding the screws to the
rail ). Sorry about the poor picture.

Last picture shows the mastic has come out around the rail ( so i know i have a good seal )
( Also note the mastic that has come out around the screw heads ).

The same process was applied to the middle window and the other smaller front
window.
